E-One Appoints New Dealer in South Africa
August 18, 2008 – E-One is pleased to announce the appointment of Marcé Fire Fighting Technology as their new Official Dealer for the nations of South Africa, Lesotho, Mozambique, Namibia and Swaziland.
Luke de Koker, Regional Manager for E-One in Africa, said, “E-One has for many years dominated the supply of NFPA compliant fire fighting & rescue apparatus market and has successfully delivered over 400 such vehicles into South Africa, therefore E-One believes that our valued customers deserve Service Excellence by a reputable dealer with competent sales and maintenance staff and with facilities, it is for this reason that E-One has decided to appoint Marcé”.
Unlike many other manufacturers who entered the South African market when the demand for fire fighting & rescue apparatus were good and left when the demand dropped off, E-One was the only manufacturer who stayed with total committed to our customers for the past 30 years to provide them with the most innovative, reliable, quality apparatus and service money can buy.
Contrary to belief, E-One has the most innovative, advanced and reliable range of NFPA, ICAO and FAA compliant apparatus available, whether it is for the North American market or for the African continent….E-One does not manufacture to different standards for different markets. South Africa, Southern Africa and the rest of Africa deserve the best product available on the world market, E-One and our dealers bring advanced engineered and highest quality apparatus at the best value for money to you with confidence.
Safety is of utmost importance to E-One when we design, engineer and build our apparatus, all are tested and certified by an Authorized Third Party company, especially for the E/ECE/TRANS/505 Regulation No. 29 Cab Crash Worthiness safety standards for the Entire four-door cab. E-One’s custom cab designs are tested and must first pass a series of demanding tests such as a side-impact pre-load, a quasi-static roof strength and a frontal impact. Not only do our cabs pass, but they exceed SAE and ECE requirements. Why do we put our cab designs through such intense trials? Because when it comes to safety, we believe “good enough” is never good enough.
E-One has also developed into our proven chassis design the state-of-the-art rollover protection system, a unique tether system that secures the ABTS seat backs to the rigid cab structure, E-one’s G4™ exclusive electronic stability control system, E-One’s CrewGuard™ occupant detection system, and many more other features.
As a leading manufacturer of fire fighting & rescue apparatus, E-One engineers and builds a complete line of apparatus including Aerial Ladder Vehicles, Aerial Ladder Platform Vehicles, Refinery/Industrial Pumpers, Municipal Pumpers, Municipal Tanker/Pumpers, Rescue Pumpers, Hazardous Materials Vehicles, Rescue Vehicles, Command Centre Vehicles, Aircraft Rescue Fire Fighting Vehicles and Explosive Ordnance Disposal Vehicles.
